Date: October 13/11 Burlington ON - The Ontario PGA released their 2011 award nominees on Wednesday and the winners will be voted on by the Board of Directors and announced on Tuesday, October 25th at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham ON. There are seven award categories and the three major categories of these would be Teacher of the Year, Golf Professional of the Year, and Player of the Year. The nominees are listed below for each category and there is one individual left off the list. The #1 player in the PGA of Canada Rankings and leader of the Ontario PGA Money List Brian McCann (Braeben Academy) apparently hasn't had a good enough season to be nominated as Ontario PGA Player of the Year....
