Well in the grand world of Indoor Golf when the weather in March is 23 Celsius and sunny, we don't get very busy. Today I got to work early, went through a 20 minute work out, then answered three straight "I'm playing outside today, so we won't be there" phone calls. In short, I spent my morning updating Facebook pages and websites. In the afternoon, I was enticed to play nine holes at The Teeth of the Dog. I've been hitting my driver especially good lately, and after a winter of hitting into a simulator, I found myself outside on Saturday playing my first round. I hit 11/13 fairways on the New Course at Hidden Lake. So something's happened over the winter on these machines that's made me way more consistent off the tee. Will have to keep notice of this progress. Anyway, today I hit every drive solid and hit all but one fairway. I scored 33 on the tough back nine at Casa de Campo's Teeth of the Dog. During this round, I was keeping an eye on Tavistock Cup. My dream would be to play in an event where fans are literally, walking down the fairway snapping photos, audi's are lined up on every hole, and good looking girls are waiting with refreshments on every tee. But instead I was playing golf indoors on a summer like March afternoon. Again, nothing happened today and I promise life this season will become exciting as tournament time approaches.
