At 11pm on Sunday, February 28th, my wife and I welcomed our first child, a boy, into this world.  Mason James Kenesky was born healthy and it is with great joy and pride that we make this announcement.

I would like to relay some interesting points.  First, good golf coaches are tough to find and the good ones are way to expensive for the average player.  Also, most of the top guys never have enough time and they refer you to an assistant...

With the Winter Olympics and Canadians glued to the set watching Alex Bilodeau win our first gold medal on home soil, golf was still played.  Without Tiger, we can still enjoy some great golf and great venues...

Well what can I say, Steve Stricker is a man we should all watch and learn from.  I not only admire Mr. Stricker on the golf course, but he is truly a nice man and hasn't changed.  I say this because, as a 13 year old junior attending the 1993 Ontario Open at Bridgewater Golf Club in Fort Erie ON (Canadian Tour Event)...

Well, well, well, what comes first the chicken or the egg?  The two more important areas that I teach when it comes to PuttingZone techniques is Touch (speed control) and Targeting (green reading)...

One of the most important aspects to putting is having a solid process or routine time and time again.  With regards to putting there are hundreds of different models of putters, grip styles, and stances that enables a player to put the ball in the hole.  But, a great routine that invovles intent, focus, breathing, commitment, trust, and repeatability is something that will drastically increase our odds of making more putts.  With this in place we will start thinking less, playing with no fear, and having increased amounts of confidence.  With a solid routine set in stone, reading greens and developing speed control will become much easier and more putts will be holed.
