Rod Spittle originally from St. Catharines, ON is searching for his second Champions Tour victory in the first full field event of the season.  In the final round of the Allianz Championship, Spittle will be teeing it up with former British Open Champion Tom Lehman and long time European Tour player Peter Senior...

Spittle made a run up the leaderboard yesterday playing the first 13 holes in 6 under par.  However, a bogey on the final hole put the 55 year old at 11 under par and one shot back of eventual leader Peter Senior. 

Spittle a 3 time Platinum Champion on the Great Lakes Mini Tour, won for the first time on the Champions Tour last October at the AT&T Championship.  He followed that up with a solid T16 finish in the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in January.  Now he is poised to keep his solid stretch of golf going on Sunday in Boca Raton, Florida.
