The HHJGT has been operating with the same principles and regulations for nearly 30 years. Though it's become more of a junior development tour in the past few seasons, juniors are still taking experiences from their time on the Tour and applying them at higher levels. Just last week, current member John Boncoddo out of Brantford G&CC won the GAO Junior Spring Classic by one stroke to capture his first provincial title.
June 3rd will see a number of junior golfers looking to add their name to an already impressive list of golfers. One thing that's stood the test of time, is that young golfers who use this Tour to develop their skills and apply them, have gone on to become successful amateurs or professionals at higher levels. It will be a fun day and in the end the HHJGT for a 29th season will develop a new crop of future golf stars for the Hamilton/Halton region of Ontario.
